Lucas Moura, São Paulo’s forward, will undergo a knee arthroscopy on his right knee after complaining of pain due to a partial ligament injury and strain on the posterior capsule. The procedure is scheduled for next Saturday at the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein in São Paulo. The club’s goal is to assess the healing process. Lucas suffered the injury in March during a match against Palmeiras in the Paulistão semifinal at Allianz Parque. He underwent conservative treatment and played two games in May against Fortaleza and Alianza Lima.
