The former president of the Ukrainian parliament, Andriy Parubiy, 54, was shot dead in broad daylight on Saturday (30) in Lviv, in the West of the country. The crime triggered a major police operation to locate the shooter, who fled on an electric bicycle. Witnesses told The Sun that the shooter was wearing a black helmet with yellow markings and was disguised as a delivery person. Parubiy was hit between five and eight times and died on the spot on a sidewalk. Police found at least seven bullet shells at the crime scene, which was cordoned off for investigation.
