JAKARTA — The home of Indonesia’s finance minister was looted overnight, soldiers guarding her residence and a witness told Agence France-Presse on Sunday, as protest anger at police spreads to lawmakers. Southeast Asia’s biggest economy has been rocked by protests against a controversial jobs law which has escalated into demonstrations against the government in recent days. The Finance Minister, Sri Mulyani Indrawati, is known for her tough stance on economic policies, which have sparked unrest among the population. The looting of her house signifies the deepening discontent within the country.
