During the SCO summit in Tianjin, PM Modi had a meeting with Xi Jinping. This was their second meeting in the past year. PM Modi invited Xi Jinping for the 2026 BRICS Summit in India, to which Jinping expressed support. Both leaders discussed mutual cooperation and global issues.
