Stellantis has announced a recall in Brazil for Peugeot, Fiat, and Citroën models. The Citroën vehicles (Basalt and C3 Aircross, year/model 2025) and the Peugeot (2008, year/model 2025) are facing an issue related to a possible obstruction in the intake manifold. According to the automaker, this failure can lead to gas evaporation and, in extreme cases, result in non-compliance with current regulations. For these models, the intake manifold body will be replaced.
For Fiat, in the Titano model (years/models 2024 and 2025), the problem is linked to the possibility of friction between the front central harness and the instrument panel support. Stellantis stated that this could lead to a fire starting and the unintended activation of the side airbag and passenger curtain airbag, increasing the risk of accidents with property damage, severe injuries, or even fatalities to occupants. In this situation, protection will be installed on the front central harness and, if necessary, repaired.
