(Image: REUTERS/Amanda Perobelli) The Ibovespa (IBOV) starts Tuesday (2) with investors monitoring the release of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the 2nd quarter in Brazil. The economy grew 0.4% between April and July, representing a slowdown from the revised 1.4% growth in the first three months of the year. However, the number was slightly above market expectations. In the United States (US), the Industrial PMI will also be announced, reflecting the health of the manufacturing sector. Meanwhile, in the eurozone, it was reported that inflation slightly advanced in August, remaining close to the European Central Bank’s (ECB) 2% target. The index in the 20 countries that share the euro rose to 2.1% last month, from 2% in July, slightly above the expected 2.0% in a Reuters survey.
