Training in India proves to be beneficial for players: Hitesh reflects on US Open Juniors main draw

Seventeen-year-old Hitesh Chauhan, a promising talent in Indian tennis, recently participated in the US Open Junior Championships 2025 held in New York. Despite facing a loss in the first round to local player Jerrid Gaines Jr., Chauhan’s journey to the main draw marked a significant milestone in his career. This achievement follows his success earlier this year at the French Open Juniors, where he reached the second round of the Boys’ Singles, becoming the first Indian player to do so since 2016. Additionally, Chauhan clinched the Junior Doubles title at the ITF J100 event in Egypt, showcasing his growing prowess on the court.
