10 Music Concert-Festival Battles Postponed Due to Wave of Protests

The wave of demonstrations in Indonesia from late August to early September 2025 ended up impacting the entertainment world. Several music concerts and festivals had to be canceled or postponed for reasons of safety and collective comfort. ‘This situation has affected the planning of various musical events, causing disappointment among fans who were eagerly looking forward to attending these shows,’ said a spokesperson for one of the affected concert organizers. The protests have led to concerns about the safety of attendees and performers, leading to the decision to postpone or cancel the events. Some of the concerts affected by these changes included popular music festivals featuring international and local artists.
