Approximately 22 hours later, the procession of Lalbaugcha Raja for immersion started from Lalbaug and made its way to Girgaum Chowpatty amidst a sea of devotees. The delayed immersion was due to various reasons, but it did not deter the enthusiasm and participation of the devotees. The immersion of Lalbaugcha Raja at Girgaum Chowpatty is a significant event as it marks the conclusion of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival in Mumbai.
