Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) agreed on Tuesday to resume bilateral cooperation to resume the organization’s activities in the Persian country. The agreement was reached in Cairo. The decision comes as Iran is facing increased pressure over its nuclear program, with the IAEA expressing concerns about the country’s lack of transparency. By reestablishing cooperation with the IAEA, Iran aims to address these concerns and demonstrate its commitment to fulfilling its obligations under the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
