Rising Consumer Potential and Expanded International Routes: August E-commerce Logistics Index Hits New High for the Year

On September 10, the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing revealed the August China E-commerce Logistics Index. With demand steadily increasing, e-commerce logistics volumes continued to rise, leading to a new yearly high for the index. The August China E-commerce Logistics Index stood at 112.3 points, up 0.3 points from the previous month, setting a new high for the year. The e-commerce logistics index has been on the rise for six consecutive months. Among the sub-indices, the total business volume index for e-commerce logistics surpassed 131 points, marking a 0.5-point increase from the previous month, signaling a faster growth rate.
