Pilot dumps Venezuela plane with 380 kg of marijuana in reservoir in AM

A pilot of a twin-engine airplane released an aircraft containing 380 kg of marijuana into the waters of the Balbina reservoir, located near the town of Presidente Figueiredo, in Amazonas, on Wednesday afternoon (10). The aircraft came from Venezuela, a neighboring country to Brazil. According to the Brazilian Air Force (FAB), which intercepted the plane, the man entered Brazilian airspace illegally and disobeyed orders to change course from the Air Defense. The Federal Police participated in the operation with ground control measures and seized approximately 380 kg of skunk marijuana inside the aircraft. The FAB did not disclose the fate of the pilot. There is no information on whether he died, was arrested, or managed to escape.
