On the first day of the single voting day (EDD-2025) during the regional elections, almost half of the governors participating in direct elections voted, according to ‘Vedomosti’. On September 12, both acting heads of regions and temporarily acting governors cast their votes. This high turnout among elected officials attracts attention both to the leaders of the regions and to the voting procedure.
