The third and final Twenty20 International between England and South Africa was abandoned without a ball being bowled at Trent Bridge. The rain had the final say in the series, which ended in a 1-1 tie. South Africa was unable to play a rain-reduced five-over contest as the weather didn’t cooperate. Despite both teams looking forward to a thrilling decider, the unfortunate weather conditions resulted in the match being called off.
