Palmeiras made the three available changes to the list of players registered for the quarterfinals of the Copa Libertadores: goalkeeper Carlos Miguel, left-back Jefté, and midfielder Andreas Pereira are the newcomers. The reinforcements that arrived in the last transfer window respectively replace goalkeeper Mateus (Alverca), left-back Vanderlan (RB Bragantino), and midfielder Richard Ríos (Benfica). The Libertadores regulations allow clubs to make up to three changes to the list in this stage of the competition, and the Alviverde used all of them. The players will keep the same numbers they have in the Brasileirão: 1, 6, and 8.
