Rugby-Luckless New Zealand scrumhalf Hotham ruled out of rest of Rugby Championship

New Zealand scrumhalf Noah Hotham has been ruled out of the final Rugby Championship matches against Australia after having surgery on a broken fibula in another blow to the All Blacks’ halfback stocks. Hotham, who suffered a high ankle sprain during the last game, had to undergo a procedure to address the injury. With Hotham sidelined, Finlay Christie stepped in to fill the scrumhalf position for New Zealand in their recent match in Wellington. The All Blacks faced a significant defeat, marking one of the worst losses in their long history of test matches, which spans over 120 years of competition.
