JOHANNESBURG (AP) — A South African court has rejected a legal attempt by the family of former Zambian president Edgar Lungu to challenge a ruling stating that he must be laid to rest in his own country. Lungu, who was the president of Zambia from 2015-2021, passed away in a South African hospital where he was receiving medical treatment. The court upheld the decision that his body must be returned to Zambia for burial.
