The Israeli army intercepted a missile launched by Iranian-backed rebels in the strategic port of Hodeidah in Yemen. The rebels, known as the Houthis, had been targeted by the Israeli airstrikes. Al Masirah, a TV channel controlled by the Houthis, reported that ‘twelve Israeli airstrikes targeted the port of Hodeidah.’ The military spokesperson for the group, Yahya Saree, claimed that their air defenses were able to intercept the missile.
