Germany and Sweden scrambled their fighter jets to intercept a Russian Il-20 aircraft over the southern Baltic Sea. The incident took place on Sunday, September 21st, as reported by Interfax. Russian Defense Ministry confirmed the incident and stated that the Il-20 was conducting a pre-scheduled flight over neutral waters of the Baltic Sea when it was intercepted by the German and Swedish jets.
