Minister of Law of the Republic of Indonesia, Supratman Andi Agtas, stated that Indonesia is not only present as a participant, but also as an initiator of strategic cooperation at the 17th Heads of BRICS Intellectual Property Offices Meeting in Rio de Janeiro. He emphasized Indonesia’s commitment to strengthening international cooperation in the field of intellectual property (IP). According to Supratman, Indonesia aims to play a more active role in shaping global standards for intellectual property. ‘Indonesia is ready to contribute and collaborate with other BRICS countries to promote the importance of intellectual property rights protection,’ said Supratman during the forum.
