BRUSSELS, 23 SEP – The EU and Indonesia have finalized negotiations for a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (Cepa) and an Investment Protection Agreement (Ipa). The agreement significantly reduces tariffs, opens up the Indonesian market, and enhances bilateral trade and investment relations. According to Brussels, the deal aims to deepen economic cooperation and strengthen ties between the EU and Indonesia. This landmark agreement is expected to boost economic growth, create new business opportunities, and benefit both parties.
