DENPASAR, Indonesia: After nearly a decade of negotiations, Indonesia and the European Union have successfully reached an agreement on a trade deal, a senior minister announced on Tuesday. The Indonesia-European Union Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) is a significant milestone in the economic partnership between the two regions. This marks the third trade deal that the EU has signed with Southeast Asian countries, following agreements with Singapore and Vietnam. The signing of this pact represents a step towards enhancing economic cooperation and boosting trade between Indonesia and the EU.
