Iran’s Supreme Leader Affirms ‘We Will Not Back Down’ on Uranium Enrichment

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stated on Tuesday that Iran will not yield on the issue of uranium enrichment. He emphasized, ‘Over the past decades, during which we have conducted our nuclear activities in Iran, the pressures exerted on us have only strengthened our resolve.’ Khamenei’s remarks come in the midst of ongoing tensions with Western powers over Iran’s nuclear program. He made it clear that Iran’s stance on uranium enrichment remains firm and non-negotiable. The Supreme Leader asserted, ‘We will not back down.’
