The highly anticipated film ‘Sun Above Me’ was officially announced to premiere on November 7th, along with the release of the ‘Love and Hate’ version trailer and the ‘Can’t Leave You’ version poster. Previously, at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival, Chinese actress Xin Zhilei won the Volpi Cup for Best Actress for ‘Sun Above Me’, becoming the third Chinese actress after Gong Li and Maggie Cheung to receive this award, showcasing the brilliance of Chinese cinema on the international stage. Additionally, the film has been selected for the ‘Pingyao Surprise’ section at the 9th Pingyao International Film Festival and will have its Chinese premiere on September 25th.
Directed by Cai Shangjun, written by Han Nianjin and Cai Shangjun, the film stars Xin Zhilei, Zhang Songwen, and Feng Shaofeng.
