He argued, however, that congressmen’s indignation should not be selective and called for the establishment of a Senate Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPI) to investigate members of the Judiciary for alleged political persecution of adversaries. With 29 signatures, the motion presented by Senator Esperidião Amin (PP-SC) to open the CPI awaits reading in the Plenary by President Davi Alcolumbre.
