The Ministry of Public Prosecution and Military Police are conducting an operation against targets linked to the PCC in SP. This operation is a result of the Hidden Carbon Operation – which exposed PCC operations within financial technology companies on Faria Lima avenue. According to the Revenue Service, funds of illicit origin were channeled into the formal sector through operational companies. Named Operation Spare, Thursday’s action aimed to execute a total of 25 search and seizure warrants in the cities of São Paulo (19 warrants), Santo André (2 warrants), Barueri, Bertioga, Campos do Jordão, and Osasco.
