The American startup Rivian has announced the production of hundreds of pre-production R2 crossovers. These ‘production-intent’ units are very close to the final product and will be used for final validation – from crash tests to reliability checks and range testing. Unlike AvtoVAZ, who have fallen behind schedule with the LADA Azimut, Rivian seems to be running smoothly with their new model. This efficient approach ensures that potential issues are ironed out before mass production begins. The company is taking the necessary steps to guarantee a high-quality vehicle for its customers.
