Traversing through winding roads on a challenging journey to Takpala Village on Alor Island in Indonesia, we were greeted by Abui tribal leaders as we arrived with our guides from SeaTrek Sailing Adventures. The welcoming ceremony included a demonstration of traditional bow-and-arrow hunting techniques, providing us with a glimpse into the culture and customs of the Abui tribe.
