Cosme and Damião Day: Check out where candy bags will be distributed

Parish of Cosme and Damião (434 Leopoldo Street, Andaraí): Masses will be held every hour starting at 7am. Father Walter Peixoto, the parish priest, asks that those who want to distribute candies do so outside the church as it will be crowded. Arranco do Engenho de Dentro Court (196 Adolfo Bergamini Street, Engenho de Dentro): The samba school will be distributing candies starting at 2pm. São Carlos Complex (Estácio): The Estácio de Sá samba school’s cultural department will be distributing candies in the morning. Madureira Park (450 Cascata, between gates 5 and 6, Madureira): Filhos da Águia, from Portela samba school, will distribute candies at 10:30 am.
