UN Security Council Rejects China and Russia’s Attempt to Delay Sanctions on Iran

The United Nations Security Council blocked an effort by China and Russia to delay sanctions on Iran. Western nations, including the United States, France, and the United Kingdom, strongly opposed the draft, leading to its rejection.
