UN Restores Sanctions on Iran, Iran Recalls Ambassadors from UK, France, and Germany

According to Iranian state media, after the UK, France, and Germany initiated the mechanism, reinstating UN sanctions on the Islamic Republic of Iran (the first time in a decade), Iran has recalled its ambassadors in these three countries for consultations. Iran’s official news agency, Tasnim, and other media reported on Saturday: ‘Following the irresponsible actions taken by the three European countries to restore the rescinded UN Security Council resolution, Iran’s ambassadors to Germany, France, and the UK have been summoned back to Tehran for consultations.’
