TVK leader Vijay is currently on a political tour that has reached Karur district in Tamil Nadu following his recent visit to Namakkal. At the Karur Government Hospital, tragedy struck as 29 individuals, who were part of the political gathering, were reported dead. None of those who were inside the hospital survived the incident. Those above the age of 45 are being provided with medical care. The exact cause of the incident is still under investigation.
The incident occurred at night when a group of children under the age of 10, along with women, were partaking in the political event. Among the attendees, there were 6 children and 16 women who tragically lost their lives. The remaining 9 deceased individuals were men. As per reports, the group was undergoing medical observation when the incident took place.
Authorities have cordoned off the area and have begun investigations to determine the cause of this tragic event that has left 31 people dead. The families of the victims are in a state of shock as they come to terms with the loss of their loved ones in such a sudden manner. Vijay’s political campaign has been temporarily halted in light of the incident.
