At the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced that a visit from Mr Putin is being ‘planned’ to New Delhi in December. Lavrov highlighted the broad spectrum of the bilateral agenda between India and Russia, including trade, military, technical cooperation, finance, humanitarian matters, healthcare, high-tech, artificial intelligence, and close coordination in international forums like SCO and BRICS. Lavrov also mentioned that India has full autonomy in its trade relations with Russia.
