Goyal’s Overseas Visits to Boost Exports and Facilitate EU FTA Negotiations

New Delhi: In an effort to enhance export opportunities and drive forward trade discussions, India’s commerce and industry minister, Piyush Goyal, is embarking on a tour of three nations in October. The destinations include Singapore, Qatar, and South Africa. This initiative aims to expand India’s presence in new markets while also strengthening negotiations for potential trade agreements. By diversifying its export markets, India seeks to showcase its ability to secure ambitious trade deals, especially in light of recent successes with countries like the United Arab Emirates and Australia.
