In Hayes, a town in England, Manpreet Janda (34) and Jaspreet Singh Uppal (36), who are of Indian descent, are currently residing. Their 3-year-old daughter, Penelope Sandhu, born in 2023, was found dead. Penelope weighed only 12 pounds, which is close to an average 3-month-old baby’s weight. The cause of death was determined to be severe malnutrition and neglect. The parents were charged with manslaughter and child cruelty.
