Iran’s judiciary announced on Saturday the execution of six individuals labeled as ‘terrorists,’ convicted of carrying out attacks in the country’s main oil region, Khuzestan, and having alleged links with Israel. ‘The sentence was carried out on these individuals who were found guilty of acts of terror in Khuzestan province and having connections with the Israeli enemy,’ stated the judiciary’s spokesperson. The executions come amid rising tensions between Iran and Israel, with accusations of espionage and sabotage being thrown by both parties.
