Tehran’s judiciary confirmed on Saturday that it had carried out the execution of six individuals belonging to a ‘terrorist’ group convicted of launching armed assaults in the Khuzestan region. The members were identified as separatist terrorist elements that had been engaged in violent activities in recent years. The decision to implement the death penalty was based on their involvement in acts of terrorism and their threat to national security. The executed individuals were accused of planning and executing attacks that posed a serious risk to the public and disrupted peace and stability in the region.
