Recently, a video showing a Haobo GT rear-ending a construction vehicle while using ACC cruise control has sparked public outcry. The video footage shows the vehicle driving on a highway, with the ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) engaged, pushing aside warning cones placed in front before colliding head-on with a stationary construction vehicle, with no deceleration occurring during the incident. The vehicle involved in the accident is reported to be a 2023 Haobo GT 560 RWD Seven-Wing Edition. The vehicle’s configuration sheet indicates that it is equipped with an L2 level ADAS and does not have a laser radar, with a single-camera for forward perception. Currently, this model has been discontinued. Haobo has stated that after investigating, the vehicle in question is equipped with a 1R1V (1 radar, 1 camera) system.
