The CBF admitted to São Paulo’s president, Julio Casares, that the refereeing was wrong in Sunday’s Choque-Rei – which ended 3-2 for Palmeiras. The São Paulo president spoke with president Samir Xaud and with the General Coordinator of the Refereeing Commission Rodrigo Cintra right after the game. The UOL found out that the conversations lasted around 20 minutes. The dialogue between Casares and the CBF president took place while Xaud was traveling to Seoul, where the Brazilian national team will face South Korea next Friday. During the conversation with Cintra, Casares heard that he was right in his complaints. It was during this conversation that the CBF admitted the mistakes in the Choque-Rei.
