Legendary South Africa National Cricket Team batsman AB de Villiers has expressed his support for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) selection committee’s move to remove Rohit Sharma as the ODI captain of the India National Cricket Team. De Villiers stated, ‘I believe it was a tough but necessary decision by the BCCI. Captaining a national team is a huge responsibility and sometimes changes need to be made for the team’s success.’ His endorsement comes after former Indian cricketer Ajit Agarkar was appointed as the chairman of the national selection committee.
