Ministry of Finance: Government Funds Placement in Himbara Banks Will Boost Credit Growth to 10 Percent by the End of 2025

The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) stated that the placement of government funds amounting to Rp 200 trillion in state-owned bank consortium (Himbara) will boost credit growth by up to 10 percent by the end of 2025. The placement of such a large sum of money in Himbara banks aims to stimulate the country’s credit expansion and encourage economic development. This move is expected to facilitate easier access to credit for businesses and individuals, thus catalyzing economic growth. This initiative is in line with the government’s efforts to strengthen the financial sector and promote lending activities to drive economic progress.
