The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has lifted the tsunami early warning issued following a 7.4 magnitude earthquake in the waters of the Philippines. The tsunami threat had impacted several areas in North Sulawesi (Sulut), Maluku, and Papua. BMKG advised the Talaud Islands to remain cautious even after the warning was revoked. The earthquake in the Philippines triggered the early warning, causing concerns in Indonesia.
