The United States will impose 100% tariffs on imports from China in addition to all existing tariffs, said U.S. President Donald Trump on the Truth Social social network. He explained this by pointing out that China has begun to pursue an ‘aggressive’ trade policy. As Trump explained, ‘China began an aggressive trade policy against the United States.’ In tandem with this measure, President Trump also announced the introduction of export controls for critical software starting on November 1.
