One of the most well-known scenes from the original 1988 version of Vale Tudo has finally made its way into Manuela Dias’s adaptation. Paolla Oliveira’s Heleninha requested a ‘hot mambo’ after a night of heavy drinking in Monday’s episode. The night of revelry follows the character’s confession to Celina about hiding the fact that she found a gun on the floor of her mother Odete Roitman’s room on the day the villain died. She is joined by Renato, played by João Vicente, who finds her drunk and asking to dance. The final episode of Vale Tudo will air this Friday, the 17th.
