Trump: New meeting with Putin likely to take place in Budapest

President of the United States, Donald Trump, spoke on the phone for almost two hours with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, on Thursday (16). Afterwards, as usual, he took to social media to announce that it was a ‘very productive conversation’ and that a new meeting between the two leaders is likely to take place in Budapest. The call took place a day before a visit from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski to the White House. The Ukrainian leader will meet with Trump on Friday (17) to request military assistance, including the possibility of long-range missiles, as Kiev and Moscow escalate their conflict with massive attacks on energy systems.
