Mirassol and São Paulo are set for the match valid for the 29th round of the Brazilian Championship. The game kicks off at 6:30 pm (Brasília time) at the José Maria de Campos Maia Stadium in Mirassol.
Team lineups
São Paulo’s starting XI features: Rafael; Ferraresi, Arboleda, and Alan Franco; Maik, Marcos Antônio, Bobadilla, Pablo Maia, and Enzo Díaz; Lucas and Tapia.
The main news is the return of Lucas to the starting lineup, forming the attacking duo with Tapia. The number 7 jersey hasn’t started a match since March when he got injured against Palmeiras in the Paulistão.
Coach Hernán Crespo also regains Bobadilla after international commitments. Other changes include right-back Maik and midfielder Pablo Maia entering the lineup.
Mirassol’s lineup consists of: Walter; Daniel Borges, João Victor, Jemmes, and Reinaldo; Neto Moura, Danielzinho, Guilherme, and Carlos Eduardo; Cristian and Alesson.
The team from the São Paulo countryside will be without Gabriel, who is injured, and Negueba, who is suspended due to yellow cards. Carlos Eduardo and Cristian will step in for them.
Walter returns to the team’s goal after serving a suspension against Internacional.
