LADA Izhevsk celebrates 60th anniversary: 6 million cars produced

LADA Izhevsk car factory celebrates its 60th anniversary since its foundation. The decision to establish the production within the ‘Izhmash’ was made on October 21, 1965, and already in December 1966, the first cars rolled off the assembly line. ‘We are proud to celebrate this milestone and to have produced 6 million cars over the years,’ said a factory representative. The factory, known for its LADA cars, has been a key player in the Russian automotive industry for decades.
