Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold back Russian troops around the Pokrovsk-Mirnograd conglomeration according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The General Staff reported that Russia has been trying unsuccessfully for over a year to push Ukrainian troops out of this area.
