Olympic chiefs have made a decisive ruling regarding Indonesia’s stance on hosting future events following the country’s refusal to grant visas to Israeli athletes participating in the world artistic gymnastics championships in Jakarta. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has taken a firm stance by completely shutting down any discussions with Indonesia and urging all international federations to do the same. The Israeli Gymnastics Federation has appealed multiple times for a resolution to the issue, but Indonesia’s exclusion of Israeli athletes has been met with a strong response from the IOC.
