Li Auto Attracts Customers from German Brands: Russians Betray Legendary Marks

According to a study by the ‘Autostat’ agency and the Li Auto owners club in Russia and CIS countries, 52.8% of crossover owners of the Chinese brand switched to them from German cars. Most frequently, the previous car of the Li Auto owner was a BMW – 20.7% of those surveyed. Furthermore, 15.6% switched from Audi, while 6.5% were previously driving a Mercedes-Benz. The increasing popularity of Li Auto among Russian consumers is shaking up the market. This shift signifies a change in consumer preferences towards this emerging Chinese brand.
